Kathryn Provost

Kathryn ProvostKathryn has nearly 20 years of career development experience and loves working with Norwich students and alumni! Prior to becoming the director of the Career Center, she worked as the assistant director of the NU Alumni Office, where she was able to develop a lot of wonderful alumni contacts who come in very handy in her work with the Career Center!

In her free time, Kathryn loves to ski, having done so at nearly 40 different areas in North America, including everywhere from Whistler-Blackcomb to the old NU ski hill! She also likes to travel, read, and spend time with her family and friends.

Meghan Oliver

Associate Director, Career and Internship Center

Meghan has more than 15 years of higher education experience and 14 years of career counseling. She 943576_10151481662165846_1648100356_nreceived her bachelor’s degree in Family and Community Services from The University of Massachusetts at Amherst  and earned her master’s degree in Education and Career Counseling from the University of Vermont. She loves showing her clients how find their passions and teaching them how to market themselves and develop career planning strategies. She says, “Watching the light bulb go off is one of the reasons why I love my work!”

In Meghan’s “down” time you will find her splitboarding in the Vermont backcountry or riding singletrack on her mountain bike.

Jim Graves

Internship Coordinator, Career and Internship Center

Jim -6-9Jim has 20 years of experience working within the fields of education and human services. He received his bachelor’s degree in English from Washington State University and his master’s degree in teaching from the University of Alaska. His strengths include designing and teaching experiential curriculum that is practical and focuses on the needs, abilities, and interests of his students. He believes that internships provide powerful tools for learning and self-discovery. His counseling methods are designed to help students discover their own values, skills and aptitudes that will help them move towards a successful and fulfilling career.

As an internship coordinator, he enjoys helping students discover their passion for real world experiences. In his free time, Jim likes to ride his Harley and do home improvement projects. He also likes to go to garage sales on the weekend and spend time playing with his granddaughter.

Sherri Campbell
